I've thrown away all of my expensive acne moisturizers! I've used this product for 6 weeks now and my skin has never been this soft and firm. The salicylic acid offered in this product is a bonus and does not over-dry or irritate like other products I've used. There is a slight sting when I first apply the African Black Soap, but after it settles my face feels so refreshed and nourished. Better yet, my acne and hyperpigmentation are healing much quicker. No oily residue throughout the day, and make-up looks great over the lotion.

I love this lotion. I started out using it on problem skin on my body. It helped with razor related bumps and pimples. So I tried it on my face. After two weeks, my facial skin, which was dull and experiencing adult acne issues, has healed significantly and is starting to look more luminescent. Generally I stay away from anything with enzymes or acids due to my highly irritated and sensitive skin, but this has been very gentle. It is not greasy at all on the skin. My only complaint: the lotion is so thick that it is extremely hard to get out of the bottle. Little black flakes of the label are everywhere because I've squeezed it so much. It is a hassle. it would be better if it came in a pliable tube.

Amazing!! I get exzema, especially when my skin gets really dry, or when it's hot and I sweat. This calms and relieves itching way faster than hydrocortisone, heals cracked and red irritated skin fast. One of my worst ezcema flares on my wrists and hands was out of control. This lotion calmed immediately, and the skin was healed in a few days!! Using it every day keeps my sensitive irritated skin under control and comfortable, and this lotion feels smooth and sinks in quickly, not greasy or sticky. It is very thick, which I really love! But you can't get it out of the bottle. I cut the bottle and put it all in a tub- problem solved! This lotion is perfect, I've started using the soap as well.

I bought this body wash for my son. I use the coconut and papaya body wash and love it, so I thought this might work for his acne prone skin. It's really working for him and he loves it. He has adult onset acne not only on his face, but also on his back. After 2 weeks of using this formula, his back is acne free!! We both like how Nubian Heritage body washes lather with just a small amount of product and contains only organic and natural ingredients. It is also working just as well on his face. We both love our formulas of Nubian Heritage.

this is the second lotion from nubian heritage i have tried (the other was the hatian velvetier) and i have to say it exceeds my expectations. the hatian velvetier didn't seem to absorb as well into my skin as this lotion does. also, the smell is less overpowering but above all, it's thick and soaks into my skin really quickly.

Lotion is difficult to get out of the bottle, but once it touches warm skin it seems to melt and it absorbs well. Smell is not too strong. I am pleased with it.

I haven't used this long enough to know how my tendency toward acne will respond to it. But I have many sensitive skin issues and tend to get rashy and blotchy from acne moisturizers. Not to mention dryness. This doesn't irritate my skin (so far) and it smells really nice! I love the smell and would probably find a way to use it anyway, at least for that, on the rest of my body.

Purchased this item in multiple quantity for both my wife and sister. Now I have my neices wanting this product. I have been purchasing these products for over a year for my wife thru various internet sites. Lucky Vitamin awas the only site I found that carried every varity of these lotions, plus my virgin coconut oil for cooking. Total cost of items cannot be beat. Every lotion in this line is exceptional. For that someone special in your life, buy them a bottle. Than get a second job! Received items on 4th day after order placed, Charlotte,N.C..

This is the best lotion I have ever used. I use it along with the nubian heritage african black soap bar and they work great together. My teenage daughter tried many organic products for her acne and these products have cleared her skin beautifully.

Scent is amazing, works well, my only issue is that it is so thick it's hard to squeeze out of the bottle & the only way I can get it out is to take the cap off. It's not even half empty. If they offered a pump that would be great.
