Nubian Heritage's Humble Beginnings

I never thought I would love a soap so much. This really works! Leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. The smell is very pleasant and I actually saw a difference in the appearance of my skin after one use. Works great on eczena and acne. A Keeper!!!!!

I love this soap. Its a staple to healthy beautiful clear skin. Gentle enough for everyday use but you do see results. This brand is very good. Doesnt have all of those heavy chemicals in its products and yet everything smells wonderful and LASTS throughout the day. Ive been looking online to buy some products in bulk and lucky vitamin has A TON of nubian and I'm happy to have stumbled upon this site. Quick easy shopping.

This soap is THE best soap I've EVER tried!
I use it for face and body and love the results! I sometimes have bouts with adult acne and this stuff has worked wonders! I now get a lot less break outs thanks to this soap and my skin just looks and feels so much better!
I have been able to toss all my special acne face washes and scrubs that never helped anyway. I just use this stuff once a day and am loving it!
It really deep cleanses and seems to help normalize the skin. Also the fragrance is amazing! It's perfectly unisex which is great!
My husband and I will never use anything else on our face or body, we're hooked for life!

This soap surprised me. I have ordered so many varieties of natural/organic soap and none are as effective as this soap for clearing up AND moisturizing the skin. Now my husband tried it, loved it and claims the bar is his. Funny. Anyway, now it's our family bar. Can't wait to see how it works during our drying Pennsylvania winters.

I purchased this soap after reading some of the other reviews and I must agree this soap does help to clear up the complexion. The results are quick. It's great on dark spots and dead skin cells that can be ex-foliated after regular use. I'm definitely buying more!

the soap works well enough but i didn't feel that it was spectacular. it didn't moisturize as well as i thought it would.

I purchased this product because my daughter was having problems with her skin. I tried prescription strength items which dried her skin out. Black Soap did not and it cleared up her problem.

This soap is one of the best I've ever used. Unique fragrance, very gentle on the skin, even in winter. In the summer, it can cut through body oils, dirt and sunscreen lotion. Lasts a long time.

This is an excellent product. I concur with all of the other users. It is unadulterated and leaves your face and body feeling very clean, moisturized, and free of the residue you may feel with other soaps that contain a lot of fragrances, chemicals and junk to get it lather. I have very sensative skin and tolerate this without dryness. As a tip to others who may also have a sensative scalp, I use this bar ( and some of the others by Nubian Heritage) as a shampoo. It is fabulous. Give it a try!

I have combination skin; some areas are dry and some oily. I have found that if I rub a mixture of one part black seed oil to five parts olive oil on my face each night and wash my face with African black soap each morning, my complexion is an even tone and the problem I had with oil is controlled completely. I have also stopped wearing a sunscreen because the shea butter in the soap is a natural sunscreen. No more
acne, just a clean fresh complexion. People tell me I don't look my age, 62. I love this soap!

I buy this for a relative who is biracial and has a hard time finding soap locally that works with his skin (it's a fairly white area). He loved this so much, his wife said to buy a dozen bars and also get some more of the lotion, LOL. I take that to translate into 5 clovers for a rating. I personally use the body wash myself (though I'm racially white) and I really like it. It smells really soft and sexy (but nongender specific).

Recently started using this and I am ordering more. My son's acne has cleared up and he loves the scent. I had given him my proactiv to use, but he didn't like the grainy feel on his skin. This soap works better, is natural and he will consistently use it. Think I'll cancel my proactiv order now. LOVE this soap!!

I LOVE this soap! It is great...it smells wonderful and truly, I love getting into the shower. I have been using it for about 1 week now and can say my skin is getting better each day. My feet/toes that had become dark over the years had dead skin cells and now 1 week later I noticed they are much lighter!!!! Am passing this soap to others and will definitely order again. I will also be using this for my pooches as well once their coconut herbal shampoo is over. Can't wait. Love it!!

Although I love the Nubian Products, this soap is okay, as I love the Body wash. The soap is stronger smell but I still like it. I did however, give some to a male friend that had bad acne in Iraq, and this soap worked miracles for him. It was awesome,so I frequently bought it for him. Great acne fighter product.

I must totally agree with every one else this is a magnificient product as a matter of fact the whole line of nubian heritage products .just the other day i visit a local vitamin shop and just happened to stumble upon the product read all the ingredients and saw they were all basically natural.since there wasnt alot to loose as i had already spent a zillion dollar on acne products.i am a woman of color in my late 40s and was so depressed with my cystic acne didnt know the cause and its has been a week now since i am using the black soap formula in the lotion and shower gel i,i used it all over my face and entire body and the results is amazing almost immediately my skin started to clear .thank you nubian heritage your product is the real deal am writing this review because i have decided to try the whole facial line but could only afford to buy the bar african black soap ,i will be getting the whole line when i find the funds to as it is way too expensive in the stores .

I have been using the tea tree skin care line for oily skin and acne from the Body shop. I am surprised that this bar soap works just as well. This is a bar soap that gets you squeaky clean but without that dry feeling. Great bar soap for the shower!
