From selling on a sidewalk in Harlem, Richelieu Dennis and Nyema Tubman transformed drops of scented oil into sundial creations, a business conglomerate that today includes 4 retail stores and a state of the art 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Locally, the company provides community entrepreneurs, artists and authors a platform to sell their crafts, books, jewelry, clothing and other handmade products through the sundial stores. A percentage of sales are donated to local congregations to support youth and other community development programs.

Nubian Heritage's Humble Beginnings
In 1992, fresh out of college without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a personal mission to produce high quality bath and body products utilizing all-natural ingredients and ancient healing philosophies from around the globe. Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of these lifelong friends, turned New York Street Vendors, who simply grew frustrated with the inferior quality, high chemical content, poor selection and exorbitant prices of skin care products. Today Nubian Heritage has hundreds of all-natural and organic products and although they are no longer made in bath tubs or kitchen sinks, little else has changed. They are still obsessed with Fair Trade ingredients, Ancient Healing Philosophies, Community Commerce and Culturally Authentic Products.

I had an allergic reaction to this bar of soap. It's not my first time using this brand but I never got a rash from any of the other soaps in the same family. Red bumps all over my body that itched something fierce. Use at your own risk. Everyone's different, but stop using immediately if you notice little bumps across your skin or you will spend some itchy nights.

I love the fresh scent. Perfect to use in shower/bath after a workout, gardening etc, when the body is sweaty. It is truly the soap for the summer months.

This soap lathers nicely, smells good and is non irritating. Really great for mild skin problems. Lasts a pretty good while in the shower compared to your brand name soaps you purchase in the supermarket! Will purchase again and again!

I have used this soap for many years and love the fact that it does not dry my skin. I have eczema and was prone to frequent flare-ups before finding relief in this product!!! It has really changed my life and I am thrilled that Lucky Vitamin makes it especially affordable!

This soap has a wonderful smell and lathers nicely. My skin felt soft and clean. Unfortunately, it dried out my skin horribly (a moisturizer is a must after using this soap) and left small scaly patches on my upper arms. I will not be repurchasing this soap.

This soap has a wonderful smell and lathers nicely. My skin felt soft and clean. Sadly, it dried my skin out horribly (a moisturizer is a must when cleansing with this soap.) Additionally, after using this soap for a few days I developed a few small scaly patches on my upper right arm.
