Locally, the company provides community entrepreneurs, artists and authors a platform to sell their crafts, books, jewelry, clothing and other handmade products through the sundial stores. A percentage of sales are donated to local congregations to support youth and other community development programs.

Nubian Heritage's Humble Beginnings
In 1992, fresh out of college without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a personal mission to produce high quality bath and body products utilizing all-natural ingredients and ancient healing philosophies from around the globe. Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of these lifelong friends, turned New York Street Vendors, who simply grew frustrated with the inferior quality, high chemical content, poor selection and exorbitant prices of skin care products. Today Nubian Heritage has hundreds of all-natural and organic products and although they are no longer made in bath tubs or kitchen sinks, little else has changed. They are still obsessed with Fair Trade ingredients, Ancient Healing Philosophies, Community Commerce and Culturally Authentic Products.

I've been using Nubian Heritage for several years now and I love this line of products, the soaps, lotions, hand creams, and butters. I just hate that you don't carry the shampoo's or conditioners, they are great too.

I love this soap and Nubian Heritage. They use all natural and/or organic ingredients and practice social responsibility. Their Raw Shea Butter Body Wash was my *favorite* but since trying to reduce waste, I've switched to bar soaps. I've tried the African Black, Body Butter Mango, and Shea Butter with Lavender and Wildflowers. They are all wonderful but this one is my favorite, mostly because of the amazing scent

I've been using Nubian Heritage bar soaps for several years now. I use the bar soap as shampoo, as well. It smells and feels great. It's made in the USA with pure natural simple ingredients. It lasts a long time and lathers to the very last bit. Lucky Vitamin has the best price anywhere!

I've been using this product for years and i have to say i want be changing anytime soon. I've been so pleased with the product that i've shared it with several of my friends and now that refused to use regular soap again. I have used this soap for many years and love the fact that it does not dry my skin. I have eczema and was prone to frequent flare-ups before finding relief in this product!!! It has really changed my life and I am thrilled that Lucky Vitamin makes it especially affordable!

This bar soap (I still prefer bar soap) is among the best I've used. It's great for winter dry-skin (first ingredient listed is Shea Butter); it's a full 5oz (a rarity in soaps these days) and the smell (sandalwood) is divine. I have extremely dry skin in the winter: I now use raw shea butter soap followed (before I dress) with Kiehl's Creme de Corps; this is the best combination I have ever used to fight winter dryness (and I have tried them all!). In fact, this combo is so good that I can occassionally skip a day of the body lotion.

I love all of the Nubian Heritage soaps that I've tried, but so far, this is my favorite. It lathers beautifully and the scent is incredible. The shea butter leaves your skin incredibly soft and smooth. This is one that I can't ever run out of!

I got hooked on this scent when using their companion hand lotion, it is warm and spicey. Shea butter is the most amazing natural oil. If I had only one product to take on a desert island Shea butter would be it. This soap is cleansing, lubricating, scenting and healing all at once. Men and women like this scent.

I have good results with this soap. I tried different soaps to find one that could help with my dry skin and this one is the best so far. After a week of use I started to notice the improvement.

I am addicted to this soap. I gave a bar to my finicky daughter and she loves it too. I can't describe it's smell. I find it heady, yet relaxing, at the same time. And the price per bar at Lucky Vitamin can not be beat. It's almost twice as much at my local organic body products store. Since there is no tax and free shipping I couldn't be more pleased.
