From selling on a sidewalk in Harlem, Richelieu Dennis and Nyema Tubman transformed drops of scented oil into sundial creations, a business conglomerate that today includes 4 retail stores and a state of the art 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Locally, the company provides community entrepreneurs, artists and authors a platform to sell their crafts, books, jewelry, clothing and other handmade products through the sundial stores. A percentage of sales are donated to local congregations to support youth and other community development programs.

A Papaya contains papain, a naturally occurring enzyme, used for centuries to gently dissolve dead skin cells, loosen pore blockage and stimulate circulation.

Nubian Heritage's Humble Beginnings
In 1992, fresh out of college without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a personal mission to produce high quality bath and body products utilizing all-natural ingredients and ancient healing philosophies from around the globe. Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of these lifelong friends, turned New York Street Vendors, who simply grew frustrated with the inferior quality, high chemical content, poor selection and exorbitant prices of skin care products. Today Nubian Heritage has hundreds of all-natural and organic products and although they are no longer made in bath tubs or kitchen sinks, little else has changed. Excellent quality. Of all the natural soaps this one is by far the best. It's scent is theraputic and it leaves your skin heavenly soft.

This particular Scent from Nubian Heritage is awesome if you want a mild scented soap that's not too purfum-ey or your skin is bit too sensitive concerning the more stronger smelling scents. This soap also doesn't dry out your skin excessively while you come of the bathroom feeling clean without creating the conditions for ashy skin to rear its ugly head. I would HIGHLY recommend this particular scent to anyone with really sensitive skin or not...it's great for all other skin types. Enjoy!

I've purchased this scent a few times . The scent is delicious and is mild to moderate so it's not overpowering. I tend to have dry skin and this seems to work better for me than the other scents. It may be the papain, which dissolves dead skin cells. I love that Nubian Heritage products are all natural, ethically traded and sustainably produced.

This soap lathers nicely, smells good and is non irritating. Really great for mild skin problems. Lasts a pretty good while in the shower compared to the brand name soaps you purchase in the supermarket! Will purchase again and again!

Awesome bar soap. I wash my hands many times through out the day. All other soaps really dried my hands out, however, this soap has helped restore moisture back into my hands making them much softer.The scent is totally awesome.

This product really does help clear up and brighten the skin as it says. The Vanilla beans help exfoliate the skin. This product is very good and I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking to brightening and exfoliating the skin. Good stuff.
