Which products are suitable for vegans?
Currently all products are vegan except for the following lip products which contain carmine. Lipsticks: Pink Rose, Mauve Rose, Claret Rose, Tuscany Rose and Napa Grape, Good For You Gloss: Pleasure and Passion. Lip Crayons: Crimson, Cranberry, Great Pink and Raspberry Port. Blush colors that contain carmine are Burgundy Rose and Orchid Rose. Lip Liner: Mauve. Beige and Medium Beige Cover-Up sticks contain beeswax.
How are Ecco Bella products tested?
Animal testing is unacceptable to Ecco Bella in any form because it is cruel and provides unreliable results. It is not required by law. Ecco Bella tests their products on themselves and they use ingredients that have been in use for years and are considered safe. Unfortunately, many ingredients have been tested on animals by the manufacturers years ago. Ecco Bella is unable to control the testing of ingredients, but they do oppose testing of any materials on animals and ask their suppliers not to test. Currently there are alternatives to animal testing that use cell membranes and computer modeling to determine safety.

I have been using this mascara for a few years and cannot find anything better--at least not in this price range. Goes on smoothly, no clumps, lengthens, and defines all the way to the tips of my eyelashes. Some people may not like that it comes off fairly easily, so beware of tears or getting your face wet. But I appreciate that I don't have to scrub and pull at my eyes to wash it off. The color is perfect, too, if you have lighter hair like I do. It's hard to find just brown, not black-brown.

I really like this mascara. The ingredients are good, and the coverage is as good if not better than conventional mascaras. Just don't cry or get caught in the rain as it washes off quite easily!

I LOVE this mascara and will be re-ordering it again VERY soon! It goes on easy. I have really sensitive eyes and this doesn't bother my eyes at all... even if I don't wash it off at night my eyes don't hurt the next day! I love that it is natural and the brown still makes my lashes look natural, just like I have thicker, fuller ones. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't waterproof, but I've read that it's hard to get natural mascara to be waterproof. So I'll forego the chemicals and stick with a mascara I FINALLY found that I LOVE!!!

I haven't been using mascara for a while cause it always seems to be too heavy on the eye lashes to me and very unnatural especially when you have to remove it! But I will say that this one is different, the natural ingredient feels lighter and the brown color give quite natural look! Like it!

My favorite natural mascara! I was happy to find it at such a great price at Lucky Vitamin. I live in a hot humid climate and this mascara holds up great with no flakes, runs or smearing. I have been using the product for over a year.
