Oshadhi - Professional Aromatherapy Rose Absolute Essential Oil - 1 ml.

Oshadhi Rose (Rosa damascena) Absolute Essential Oil is a certified organic aromatherapy essential oil from Bulgaria, obtained from the blossoms.

Rose is by common consent the most beautiful essential oil. It has always been associated with the heart, and indeed its main action is on the emotions. It uplifts, soothes, engenders harmony, promotes love, forgiveness and well being, increases sexual desire, increases feelings of attractiveness, and eases anxiety. It is a wonderful oil for reducing stress, and although it has a special affinity for supporting the female reproductive system, should not be thought of only for women, as it can help to reduce feelings of anger and frustration in teenagers. The other outstanding use of Rose oil is in skin care. It has a special affinity with ageing and mature skin, and broken capillaries, where its toning effect can reduce the appearance of redness. Rose is also famous for being costly: it takes approximately 3 kilos of fresh rose petals to create 1ml - just 20 drops - of essential oil. The good news is that a very much less costly oil is produced by the method of extraction, known as Rose Absolute, as opposed to the distilled oil which is also known as Rose Otto. Rose Absolute is more intense, more straightforward, while the Otto has a delicacy which is quite divine. Rose contains an extraordinary 400 different compounds, and blends beautifully with many oils, especially Jasmine, Neroli, Geranium, Lemon, Mandarin and Ylang Ylang.

Physical: Relieves and soothes coughs and sore throats. Tones the circulatory system. Relieves nausea.
Psychological:Relieves mild depression, stress, anxiety, irritability, and tension. Useful for insomnia. Has aphrodisiac properties.
Subtle: Brings in positive energy. Promotes creativity and love of beauty. Embodies femininity. Promotes love, compassion, hope and patience. Helps to heal emotional wounds, especially grief. Promotes a sense of spiritual connection. An aroma favored by angels.
Skin care: Good for all skin types, especially dry, mature. Helps to prevent and soften wrinkles. Soothes. May be useful for broken capillaries.

USING ESSENTIAL OILS EVERY DAY!

Ambient Diffusion
Diffusers disperse essential oils into the air with a cool air stream or gentle warmth. They are ideal for cleansing and purifying the air and for creating a mood-setting, fragrant atmosphere. Use 4-8 drops of essential oil on the replaceable cartridge or pad for cool air diffusion. Use 25 drops or more in a nebulizer. Use 3-5 drops on warming diffusers. Refresh as needed.

Massage and Body Oil
Massage is considered by many to be one of the best ways to experience aromatherapy due to the combined benefits of touch and essential oils. Massage relaxes muscles and improves muscle tone, circulation, and lymph flow. it relieves physical tension and, in turn, mental stress. Standard dilution is 20 drops of essential oil to 2 ounces of vegetable oil or fragrance-free lotion. Sensitive skin may require a lower amount, such as 10 drops in 2 ounces, or less if necessary.
It's easy to make your own therapeutic massage oils using Oshadhi synergy blends. Simply add one-half of the 10 ml bottle of essential oil into one 200 ml bottle of Oshadhi organic carrier oil such as sweet almond, hazelnut, or sunflower. This makes a 2 1/2% dilution--perfect for a therapeutic massage and body oil.

Bath
Baths combine the restorative effects of both water and essential oils in a most pleasurable way. They are perfect to relieve muscle strain, soothe skin conditions, and promote emotional balance. Use 8-10 drops to a full tub of water. it is best to add the essential oil after you have immersed yourself, so you receive the full benefits of the oils as they begin to diffuse in the warm water.

Direct: Inhalation
Inhale the fragrance, three or four times, through the nose directly from the bottle or from a tissue sprinkled with 4 drops of essential oil.

Direct: Application
Certain situations require a specific, direct application. In these cases, a stronger dilution is used for a brief period of time. The essential oils can be diluted in a carrier oil, or other medium such as aloe vera gel or witch hazel. Certain essential oils such as lavender and tea tree can be used undiluted for small areas such as an insect bite or scratch. Experiment with the strength and adjust to a higher dilution if there is skin irritation. To start: 10 drops of essential oil in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.

Shower
After your shower, put 3-5 drops of essential oil in your hands and rub them together. While your skin is till damp from the shower, quickly and evenly spread the oil over your arms, legs, and torso. Allow to dry.

Foot Bath
Foot baths are a wonderful way to pamper yourself--perfect when you do not have time for a full bath. Remember: when your feet feel good, you feel good all over! Use 2-4 drops in a tub of water. Adjust the temperature of the water to suit your needs: cool water invigorates and energizes, warm water sedates and relaxes.

Compress
A compress is a clean, damp, folded cloth that has been infused with essential oils and then applied to the skin. It employs either warm or cool water, depending on its use. Fill a basin with water and add 2-5 drops of essential oil. Stir briskly, lay in the cloth, wring, and apply.

Sauna
Put one drop of essential oil on the hot rocks or mix 5 drops of essential oil in one cup of water and pour over rocks.

Perfume
Personal fragrancing is an alluring way to express yourself. Mix 10-20 drops of essential oil in 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil. Apply to one or more of the pulse points--behind the ears, underside of the wrist, inner elbow, behind the knees, and on the backs of the ankles.

Meditation
Using aromatics for meditation and spiritual focus has been used for thousands of years. Oshadhi has several oils well-suited for this purpose, such as frankincense, patchouli, sandalwood, and myrrh. Diffuse in the area or put a drop in your hands, rub them together and inhale the aroma.

Add to Cosmetics
Essential oils can be added to pre-made, fragrance-free products. Use 10-15 drops per 2 ounces of moisturizer; 20-3- drops per 8 ounces of lotion; 20 drops per 8 ounces of shampoo; and 20-30 drops per 8 ounces of conditioner.

Mist
Misting is a convenient way to impart the enticing aroma of essential oils in the room or on your skin. Fill an 8 ounce mister bottle with 20-30 drops of essential oils. Shake vigorously each time before misting.

Anointing
Anointing is an ancient, spiritual practice used to bless, show recognition, offer protection, and to heal. Anointing literally means "to touch with oil." Use 4 drops of essential oil mixed in 1 teaspoon of jojoba or olive oil.

This stuff smells great - but in the interest of full disclosure, the photo accompanying the description, should picture actual bottle, rather than its housing, because it's tee-niny.

I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
