Nature's AnswerSambucus Black Elder Berry Extract is the ideal winter support. Samucus nigra L. is the latin name for Black Elder. The dark blue/black berries of this plant have many naturally-occuring nutritional substances such as Rutin, Quercetin (flavanoids) and Anthocyanins. Current research supports the long held beliefs about Elderberry's healthy benefits on he body. Elderberry syrup has been traditionally used to help support the immune system, especially during the winter season or when experiencing extra stress.

An added advantage to the use of Elderberry is its record of safety for all ages. When deciding on and Elderberry liquid, remember to check the kind of sweetner it contains. Many brands add sugar or sorbitol while Nature's Answer's Sambucus contains only pure extract and vegetable glycerin.
Nature's Answer alcohol-free extracts are produced using alcohol, water and natural extractants. used with Nature's way - elderberry, echinacea, zinc, propolis & vitamin C syrup to enhance the effect and seems to me it worked.

My homeopath recommended this product due to cold season related bronchial issues.I feel that taking black elder berry, daily throughout the winter months helps boost my immune system. Combining it with additional herbal products alleviated the beginning of my chronic bronchaitis this month and it adds a nice flavor to the not so pleasant tasting bronchial and lung defense herbals. An effective product for sure.

My kids have this every morning in orange juice...abit of a funny color but at least they take it! This has 100 times more elder berry than the Now capsule we had been using. So far so good!
