Suggested Use
Split Tablet in Half: Open top of splitter and center tablet at rear of cutting area as shown. Lower top and close firmly. Tablet is now split into two pieces.
Crush into Powder: Unscrew top of crushing unit and place one or two tablets into crushing chamber. Screw top on and continue to twist until tablets are crushed into fine powder.
Warnings
Sharp blade, for adult use only. Not suitable for children.

This splitter doesn't work for small pills especially it they are not flat on one side. It has no way of centering the pill to split it down the center. The only pills that this would be good at splitting would be those that are the size of a dime and flat on one side. This was a complete waste of money for me...
