Jarrow Formulas Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) 30:1 concentrate is standardized to contain 80% total Milk Thistle seed flavonoids, including the important Silymarin fractions isosilybinins A and B, silybinins A and B, silychristin and silydianin.
This particular group of flavonoids, collectively known as Silymarin, supports liver function by raising protective glutathione levels.

Suggested Use

I take it before bed, and I wake up feeling wonderful! Jarrow has outstanding quality and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great priced nutrient/supplement from a reputable source. Even if you don't think you need milk thistle, helping out your liver won't harm you! Think of all the work it does for you, maybe you can do a little bit for it for a change! -David

Although Milk Thistle is marketed as primarily a liver product, I find that it works as a sleeping pill for me when I need some help in that category.

Had been taking the recommended dose but then read to accomplish what I wanted I took three capsules/day. I had a lot of GI upset from that dose so dropped down to two capsules/day and this resolved.

Be Careful with this Extract. I started slow, because of previous reviews, 2 tabs daily, morning(1) and night(1). Within a week I had terrific stomach pains due to constipation. I almost went to the E.R.! I will start again but only one daily. If I didn't get great advice on the results, physically, of the product I wouldn't have continued taking this product.
