Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser with Orange Oil is an award-winning facial cleanser that gently removes all traces of dirt, oil, makeup and pollutants while moisturizing and conditioning the skin. This gentle and moisturizing cleanser is especially effective on sensitive and normal-to-dry complexions. Natural cleansers and emollients leave your face radiantly clean and replenished without the parched tight feeling associated with harsh, synthetic cleansers or detergent-like soaps.
How Orange Essence Facial Cleanser Works
With orange oil to cleanse and purify, and olive oil and aloe vera to soothe, moisturize and condition, this formula is perfect for refreshing, hydrating cleansing. It's designed to clean and replenish without the tight after-feel that harsh soaps and detergents can leave behind.
Featured Ingredient
Orange Oil: Citrus Aurantium Dulcis. Obtained by expressing the cold, fresh peel of the orange tree, a smallish tree native to China and India, now cultivated in Brazil, Cypress, Israel, Mexico and the United States. About 800 oranges yield one pound of orange oil. Valued for its zesty and refreshing, sweet yet tart aroma. In skin care preparations, orange oil reduces puffiness and discourages dry wrinkled skin. Both the oil and the peel are used to stimulate circulation, clear blemishes, and increase perspiration, thus assisting the release of toxins from dull or blemished skin. The peel is used as a natural exfoliator.

About Burt's Bees
At Burt’s Bees, they scour the good earth to find the most natural, effective ingredients to put in our products. To Burt’s Bees, the word “natural” means only one thing. It means, “harvested from nature.” And they adhere to that definition like the strictest of school teachers. There are ingredients that you will never find in any Burt’s Bees product. Things like petroleum which can be toxic. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a harsh, aggressive ingredient used in certain beauty products. And when was the last time you saw a farmer growing Propylene Glycol? Rather than loading their products up with harsh chemicals or unnecessary fillers, they offer you only the good stuff.
