Carlson Labs Mild-C Vitamin C contains 500 mg of Vitamin C and 56 mg of Calcium in each hard gelatin capsule. Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant nutrient. It is necessary for the building of collagen, maintaining teeth and gum tissue health, and the normal functioning of the body's natural defenses. Carlson Mild-C capsules contain a non-acidic form of Vitamin C that is mild in the stomach.
Vitamin C plays an important nutritional role in the body’s normal ability to resist infection by supporting its natural defenses. Vitamin C is generally recognized as Ascorbic Acid. Calcium Ascorbate is another form of vitamin C, which not only provides calcium, but also is naturally mild in the stomach and mouth.
