Carlson Labs B-Compleet-50 Vitamin B Complex provides the principal B-vitamins in a balanced, high-potency formulation. Carlson Labs guarantees that this product is free from starch, preservatives, milk, soy, corn, wheat, salt, sugar, gluten and yeast. Vitamin B-Compleet-50 is vegetarian and has all natural colors.

Vitamin B-1 is necessary for carbohydrate metabolism and good muscle coordination. B-1 also helps to maintain normal appetite, digestion & nerve activity, and is involved in normal energy production. Vitamin B-2, also known as riboflavin helps maintain healthy skin & eyes and is involved in converting fats, proteins and carbohydrates into energy.  Pyridoxine -Vitamin B-6 - is involved in carbohydrate, fat & protein metabolism and is needed for production of antibodies and red blood cells. Vitamin B-6 is involved in metabolism of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Cobalamin (Vitamin B-12) is required for the development of normal red blood cells and is necessary for normal functioning of skin cells, nervous system  & intestines. B-Compleet-50 also contains Niacin, which is involved in metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and protein, and normal stomach fluid & bile secretions; Folic Acid which helps maintain healthy blood, is involved in the formation of red blood cells, and is essential for synthesis of genetic material and the metabolism of amino acids; Pantothenic Acid, involved in formation of hormones and vital compounds which regulate nervous system and is essential for the release of energy from carbohydrates; and Biotin, involved in the normal metabolism of carbohydrates, fats & proteins,and is needed for maintenance of skin, hair, sex glands & bone marrow.
