Chandrika - Ayurvedic Bar Soap
Founded in 1940, called Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap when it was not a fashion to call products Ayurvedic. Chandrika Soap is made with pure vegetable oils such as purified Coconut oil, Sandalwood oil, and Patchouli oil; it does not use any animal fat or products. Chandrika Soap is not tested on animals.
Chandrika puts nature to work at caring for your skin. It does not contain any animal fat. Chandrika is exported to countries like USA, UK, Italy, France Germany, etc. and has been trusted by millions of people for sixty years now. It's time you discovered why.
The ingredients are :
- Coconut Oil : it nourishes, moisturises and lightens your skin tan.
- Wild Ginger : soothes the skin and helps prevent infections and rashes.
- Lime Peel Oil : for a refreshing cooling effect and rich, penetrating lather with an astringent action.
- Hydnocarpus Oil : helps prevent skin problems, rashes and outbreaks.

I have been using this soap for at least 20 years. It smells great without being too strong and the smell is both attractive and soothing. It lathers really well (a little goes a long way) and rinses off easily. And you can't beat the price! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I recently purchased this brand of ayurvedic soap and I'm rating it a four (4) because, the bar is terribly small (size) and the scent is quite strong.
Having said that, I love the way it lathers and makes my facial skin, look and feel. I recommend this product.

This soap is awesome. It lathers so well and cleans great. It has a nice exotic and hypnotic scent that's great for both men and women. I feel like I'm in a spa when I use this soap. I highly recommend buying more than one since it's so inexpensive.

I have weeping eczema, and the Chandrika seems to help with the rash and itching. I rate this product a four and a half.

I love this soap! Not only does it have a gentle, fresh scent, but it leaves your skin and aura looking their best! I have extremely sensitive skin and I have never had a problem with this soap. The scent is great because it is unisex, as well as the fact that it layers well with lotions.

your product worked wonders on my husband hands he use to have rough hands but now they are smooth like a babies butt.

Lovely fragrance. It lathers nicely. I bought it because most soaps that I had purchased at brick & morter stores made my two small patches of exzema on my lower right leg itch like mad. This soap has no animal fat, but although the soap helped, it didn't completIy stop the itch. I now use it primarily to shampoo with. It leaves my hair fresh and managable.

I use this soap regularly. It washes away clean without leaving a soapy residue feeling. It has a wonderful smell...fresh and exotic smell. Definitely my all time favorite!!!

I wash my hair, my body with this. It heals skin sores, cracked heels... I love it. Makes my skin soft and is great on my son's acne. We would never use anything else after finding this little piece of heaven in a bar.

This by far is the best soap I have ever used. It smells great and lathers up so well. I always buy soaps that have all natural ingredients but they usually don't lather well or smell that great. This one is marvelous!

I'm not sure how this received good reviews. I found it to be harsh with an unpleasant fragrance. I always felt a residue. Unfortunately I bought 4 because of the good reviews. Luckily they are small so I can finish using them up.

My first time to use this soap never heard of it, but for the price, I thought it was worth trying, and boy I am so happy, my skin looked so smooth and bronzed, my bathroom smells wonderful, I am hooked already.
