Authentic Green Tea by Celestial Seasonings
Celestial Seasonings Authentic Green Tea 20 Tea Bags
Celestial Seasonings Authentic Green Tea leaves come from the same plant as traditional black tea, but are quickly dried to preserve their vibrant color and natural antioxidants. Celestial Seasonings blended their authentic green tea with delicate Bai Mu Dan white tea – one of the rarest and youngest of teas – to create a smooth, balanced cup with a pleasantly mild flavor.
This product contains all-natural ingredients and flavors, and no artificial colors or preservatives.
Celestial Seasonings introduced the goodness of natural antioxidant green tea to millions of people by finding the perfect balance of great taste and good health. They’ve continued this tradition of innovation by infusing authentic green teas with delicate Bai Mu Dan white tea to create even smoother, more full-flavored blends.
Green tea and white tea are both good for your body because they naturally contain potent antioxidants called polyphenols. Studies show that polyphenols are effective in countering the harmful effects of free radicals – powerful molecules that can build up in your body when left unchecked, compromising your well being. By taming free radicals, the antioxidants found in Celestial Seasonings green teas help you maintain your body’s good health.
In 1969, a group of passionate young entrepreneurs founded Celestial Seasonings upon the belief that their flavorful, all-natural herbal teas could help people live healthier lives. They harvested fresh herbs from the Rocky Mountains by hand, and then dried, blended and packaged them in hand-sewn muslin bags to be sold at local health food stores. By staying committed to their vision, the founders of Celestial Seasonings turned their cottage industry into an almost overnight success.
Today, Celestial Seasonings is the largest specialty tea manufacturer in North America. They serve more than 1.6 billion cups of tea every year, and source more than 100 different ingredients from over 35 countries to create their delicious, all-natural herbal, green, red, white, chai and wellness teas. But most importantly, they're still about people and passion.
Suggested Use
Bring freshly drawn, cold filtered water to a boil in either a teapot or microwave-safe container. (If you are brewing a green tea, let the water sit off the heat for about 30 seconds after it boils.) Pour over tea. Allow black teas and herbal infusions to steep for 5 minutes, green teas for 3 minutes.
