Roxalia combines homeopathic medicine traditionally used to treat sore throat and hoarseness. Homeopathic medicines are made of very dilute substances and are regulated as drugs by the FDA. Millesimal designation is M.
DECIMAL - potency based on the ratio of 1 part substance to 10 parts dilution. Designated with a X (in Europe designated with a D) after the remedy name. X potencies are considered low potencies. X potency is often used for children, sudden illness and first aid treatment.
CENTESIMAL - potency based on the ratio of 1 part substance to 99 parts dilution. Designated with a C (or left blank in Europe) after the remedy name. C potencies are considered medium potencies. C potency is often used for seasonal problems and chronic conditions.
MILLESIMAL - potency based on the ratio of 1 part substance to 1000 parts dilution. Designated with a M after the remedy name. M potencies are considered high potencies. M potency is used by practitioners for constitutional treatment.
MOTHER TINCTURE- the original standardized preparation of a substance from which homeopathic potencies are made.
Suggested Use
Adults and children 12 years and over: Dissolve 2 tablets in the mouth every 2 hours up to 6 times a day. Children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use if blister seal is broken. Ask a doctor before use in children under 12 years of age. If sore throat is severe, accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. Stop using this product and consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 days or worsen. As with any drug, if pregnant or nursing a baby, ask a health professional before use. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

I use a lot of Boiron's products. The Roxalia is helping pretty good to manage the pain in my throat from a cyst. I don't know what I would do without Boiron's products.

The only thing that would be better would be if this was a lozenge that included slippery elm! LOVE this stuff!

I have been using Roxalia for the past 5 years and every time it surprises me with how effective it is to help stop a sore throat. It absolutely disappears by the end of one full day of taking the tablets. I have recommended this product to everyone I know.
