Carlson Labs Vitamin A contains 15,000 IU of vitamin A from Palmitate in each soft gelatin capsule. Vitamin A is an essential nutrient in human nutrition. Vitamin A has several important functions in the body, including the maintenance of proper vision. When the body is deficient in Vitamin A, the eye gradually loses its ability to adapt to changes in light resulting in "Night Blindness." Another vital role of vitamin A concerns the formation, maintenance, and growth of skin, which forms the body's primary barrier to infection.Carlson Labs guarantees that this product is free from yeast, sugar, salt, corn, wheat, and gluten. This Vitamin A has all natural colors.

Suggested Use
Adults, take one soft gel daily at mealtime. WarningsDo not exceed recommended dosage unless instructed by your doctor. Do not take if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. The recommended daily serving of this product contains more than 10,000 IU of Vitamin A from retinol. Large amounts of Vitamin A from retinol are known to cause birth defects.

I have used Carlson VitA palmitate for nearly 40yrs as a proven aid in slowing down my retinal degeneration due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. Studies by Mass Eye Infirmary have proven the benefits from this product. It's price is kept low to assist so many of us legally or worse, blind patrons.
