Alta Health Magnesium Chloride is a simple form of magnesium that is readily absorbed. Magnesium is an essential nutrient that is inadequate in many American diets. Research has shown that magnesium is important in production of energy, and in the function and integrity of muscles, nerves, kidneys, bones, heart and arteries.
Magnesium is an essential mineral to the human body. It is needed for bone, protein, and fatty acid formation, making new cells, activating B vitamins, relaxing muscles, clotting blood, and forming adenosine triphosphate (ATP; the energy the body runs on). The secretion and action of insulin also require magnesium.
Where is it found?

Without a doubt or question .... THIS PRODUCT and BRAND is the way to go for anyone seriously educated in and seeking to use a Magnesium supplement! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE, folks. Magnesium CHLORIDE is what you want when looking to supplement. This product is the one my daughter and her husband choose to make available in their office.

I highly recommend this product. Whenever I start to get pain in my shoulder and can't sleep on that side, I know I've been negligent in taking this fine product. One thing to watch out for, tho, it is a mineral and will make you throw up and get clammy if you don't eat with a full meal. I have gone to breaking mine in half to lower this risk. Also, it will draw moisture.

Very hard to find magnesium chloride. I am glad you carry it.

I had read that this kind magnesium is better than the usual. I can't tell you if it digests well, but I can tell you that you won't get the nasty side effects like you get from regular magnesium. My doctor told me I needed much higher dosages of magnesium, which with the regular kind I was having digestive problems. With this I can take the high dosages with no side effects.
