What is Henna?
NEUTRAL HENNA (Lawsonia Enermis) has a long history of use as a natural conditioner which adds shine and body to hair. It does this by depositing a clear cellophane-like (non-coloring) coating on each hair shaft. This results in lots of bright natural highlights and increased texture and body.
The henna plant is a tall, slender shrub that grows abundantly throughout the Middle East. Its small white flowers yield an essential perfume and its oval-shaped leaves are ground into a fine powder and used as a natural colorant and conditioner.
When this powder is exposed to sunlight and air, its coloring properties are destroyed or "neutralized" but its highlighting and conditioning properties remain.
A special extraction process is then used to recover the rich cellulose-like material that is responsible for the spectacular highlighting effects.
Suggested Use

I have long brunette hair that I dye occasionally to cover a few gray roots. This is the best shampoo I've ever used. I didn't even need conditioner. My hair is so soft and shiny and the color shimmers.

This shampoo makes my blonde hair shimmer and also seems to help it look healthier and shinier. I would highly recommend this product. I am buying the conditioner to try next.

This is the best shampoo for blonds as it gives that super bright highlight to your hair that last 2 days til shampooed again. Gentle on the scalp.

I have used this shampoo for a long time now because I love the results from all Shikai products. I keep my hair roots colored with another natural product and have never had an issue with using this shampoo except clean, soft, & shiny hair naturally and have many compliments on my hair over the years! I use all their hair products and love them!!

This is bring the Gold colors out in your hair. This seems to be a good shampoo. I would order it again.
