Most pads and pantiliners use abosrbent fibers that have been whitened using chlorine-containing substances which creates dangerous toxins, like dioxin. Studies have shown a direct link between dioxin exposure in the environment and cancer, birth defects, and reproductive disorders. The abosorbent fibers in Seventh Generation pads and pantiliners are chlorine free. They also use a natural absorbent material derived from wheat. You've made a healthy choice for your body.
Seventh Generation is committed to becoming the world's most trusted brand of authentic, safe, and environmentally-responsible products for a healthy home. For 20 years, the closely held Burlington, Vermont-based company has been at the forefront of a cultural change in consumer behavior and business ethics.
One of the country's first self-declared "socially responsible" companies, Seventh Generation is a business that operates according to a new and different set of principles and values that in many ways are a marked departure from those long considered "traditional." Its business practice is focused on offering people avenues to express their idealism, passion, and commitment to causes larger than themselves at every point along its supply chain—from suppliers and partners to shareholders, customers and its own staff.
The company derives its name from the Great Law of the Iroquois that states, "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." Every time you use a Seventh Generation product you are making a difference by saving natural resources, reducing pollution, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Please keep this plastic bag away from young children. Recycle it where facilities exist.
Our ultra-thin pads are made of a combination of absorbent materials, polyolefins, adhesives, and a silicone-coated paper. The top layer is a non-woven polyolefin cover sheet. The absorbent materials consist of TCF (totally chlorine free) wood pulp, TCF (totally chlorine free) airlaid fabric, and Lysorb, an absorbent gel. Lysorb, also known as SNAP (super absorbent natural polymer), is a polysaccharide derived from wheat. Polysaccharides are complex sugars found in many natural substances, like the fibers of cotton, wood, and wheat.

It's okay. I would still love to see an even longer napkin.
Got these for my 92 year old mother. She says they are the only ones of the many she tried that provide the full coverage she needs, without the chemicals that cause a rash. Competetive pricing, fast delivery and ease to use website.
I started buying these as an alternative to the regular length ultra-thins when I discovered it was available, but I had to stop using the entire line of ultra-thins when I developed irritation. I have never liked the harsh plastic feel of their ultra-thin covers, I just used them out of convenience, I suppose. This brand does the job, but it has a lot lacking for me. I also don't care for the smell of them. I just don't get a good vibe off of them.
Okay, not sure I would buy again. They worked, but I think the paper backing does have chlorine.
These are great. Very comfortable, stays together well, unlike others I've tried.
I used the old Seventh Generation panty liners for years and absolutely loved them. This "new" design is for Amazon women!! I wear bikini underware (I'm very petite at 5" tall and 90 pounds, wearing a size 4 bikini panty.) and the pad went from above the top of the band in the front to above the top of the band in the back...the "wings" overlapped each other and stuck to me!!! I've never seen ANY kind of sanitary napkins of this size and will never buy them again. If I could, I would give them no stars. I recycled them.
Like that they are thin and long. would have given a 5 star rating if they were a little longer but, still would purchase again regardless. They still got the job done!
