Seventh Generation is committed to becoming the world's most trusted brand of authentic, safe, and environmentally-responsible products for a healthy home. For 20 years, the closely held Burlington, Vermont-based company has been at the forefront of a cultural change in consumer behavior and business ethics.
One of the country's first self-declared "socially responsible" companies, Seventh Generation is a business that operates according to a new and different set of principles and values that in many ways are a marked departure from those long considered "traditional." Its business practice is focused on offering people avenues to express their idealism, passion, and commitment to causes larger than themselves at every point along its supply chain—from suppliers and partners to shareholders, customers and its own staff.
The company derives its name from the Great Law of the Iroquois that states, "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." Every time you use a Seventh Generation product you are making a difference by saving natural resources, reducing pollution, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Please read and save the enclosed information. The risk of TSS increases with higher absorbency, so you should use the lowest absorbency that meets your needs. Tampons come in standardized industry-wide absorbencies.
100% certified organic cotton, certified by QAI International. Why do we use organic cotton? Conventionally grown cotton is heavily treated with toxic pesticides, which cause damage to the soil, water and air, and threaten the health of cotton farmers. The organic cotton used in our tampons has been grown without toxic chemicals and certified organic by a rigorous international authority. Organic cotton is safer for you, safer for farmers to grow, and safer for our environment.

Good. If you are going to use a tampon (non-applicator) these should serve the purpose just fine. They are very similar to Natracare's version. In fact, I have both brands which I store together in a container and I often have trouble telling the difference between the two. I used to be an O.B. fan and then I switched to the Keeper menstrual cup (what I use mostly and couldn't live without!) However, sometimes when I do need a tampon, I reach for these. Regular absorbency has been fine for me. Wouldn't want anything heavier. I wish they made these in a lighter absorbency.
Cannot open this tampon quickly and it takes a while, also the insert applicator does not work well, and the cotton is itchy.
I love the minimal packaging! My first choice for over 4 years!
