First - it's a Quantuum product - always a trusted brand in my house. Second, I hate cold sores but I get them sometimes and this is the product that stays in my pack for quick on-the-go treatments. It's got a pleasant flavor so I imagine it would be good for kids, and with the 21 SPF it protects those open sores and your lips, too, from the sun when you're playing outside. Highly recommended.
