I wasn't too pleased with my recent order of these cotton balls. They arrived in a complete array of sizes. Some were absolutely enormous, bigger than any I have ever seen, and others were more like a small-size cotton ball. I tend to prefer a small size, because as one reviewer commented, I rip them apart to use only as much as I want. Therefore, I don't really want them to be sold larger, because I don't need that much, and it's just an extra annoyance. I use them to tone my face, and to use with antiseptic liquid on bug bites, etc. For all those uses, I prefer smaller. I prefer a consistent size no matter what it is so I can get into a routine. The texture of the cotton seemed harsh, rough, and not as absorbent as when I have ordered from this brand before. I chose this because they were so soft last time, like others said. I'm glad they are organic. A few chemicals here and there aren't that big a deal, but if you count up every product we use every day, I believe it adds up.
