Red yeast rice was recommended to us by the cardiologist. Three of us take it to reduce cholesterol. It works! Cholesterol down by 30-50 points. It is a natural statin and certainly cheaper than prescription statins. It is recommended that you take Co-Q-10 with it to avoid muscle problems.

My cholesterol was 248 and in six weeks it came down to 208. Forty points and I made little change in diet tho I eat pretty well anyways. Excellent product and just ordered three bottles for friends. Would definitely recommend.
