Suggested Use
For maximum effectiveness begin treatment at first sign of col. Adults: Completely dissolve lozenge in mouth. Do not chew as this reduces absorption of active ingredient. Repeat every 3 to 4 hours as needed. Recommended daily dose is 6 lozenges. To avoid minor upset, do not take on an empty stomach. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices 1/2 hour before and after dissolving lozenge, as this will negate the effect of zinc. Otherwise drink plenty of fluids. Children: Older children can suck one lozenge every 4 hours.
Warnings
Ask a doctor before use if you are taking monocycline, droxycycline, tetracycline or are on a coumadin therapy, zinc treatment may inhibit the absorption of these medicines
Stop use and ask your healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist beyond 7 days
If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use
