This product is delicious, nutritious, excellent for enhancing the flavor and overall 'food value' of a meal. The flavor helps cut down on the salt you I may think I want! My cat loves it too, (I cannot open the container without him butting in demanding some) I mixed some in a little water, and is good for him, also. YUM!

I have been using Kal Nutritional Yeast Flakes for years because it gives everything from soup to salad a nutty, cheesy taste, and offers so many nutrients like B vitamins and protein. If you've never tried it, or are leary about "brewers yeasty" type foods, try this on a big bowl of fresh salad, drizzled with low cal Italian dressing...it's just really good!

I've used these flakes for many years and find them to be of very high and consistent quality. I use it as a quick mini-meal and as a source of B vitamins and protein. I usually mix it with water. It mixes easily and tastes fine.

I bought one for myself and another for a friend because the price was so good! We love adding this to our popcorn after misting it with olive oil for a very healthy snack. Also I use it as a seasoning with lots of other foods, especially vegetables. My shipment from Lucky arrived quicker than I expected and was packed very well so my items arrived in perfect condition.

Great price, fantastic product. I only take 1/3 the recommended amount (I also take a multivitamin), and I can definitely feel a difference in my energy with all the B vitamins I get from just 1 Tbsp. Pros: non GMO, lots of amino acids, vitamins Cons: none!

I love this stuff! It has a subtle, nutty flavor which goes nicely on just about everything - steamed kale, spaghetti squash, salads, lentils, etc. Great value for this large size, too.

I add this to my protein shakes after my workout. Great product! Only use 1/2 serving, so it last long. I put it in my kids fruit smoothies as well and they don't have a clue it's there.

Kal yeast is the best I have tried so far. i really didn't like yeast flakes before. I tolerated them but really didn't appreciate them. The Kal brand changed my mind. I even put it in my vegetable soups and it makes such a difference.

I'd been buying nutritional yeast from a grocery store for months and out of desperation ordered this, not really knowing what the difference may be. Mostly, the AMOUNT I got was a shocker! I didn't realize I was going to get such a large canister! As for taste, yes it does taste a little different than the product I have been using, but not so much so that I didn't like it. It was just a little milder. Kind of like comparing sharp cheddar to mild cheddar (assuming you're using it for a cheesy flavored substitute like me).

This product has excellent flavor and is good in broth, on vegetables and on popcorn. To make it stick better to the popcorn, I gring it up a bit to make more of a powder.

Love this product. It's so good, that it is hard to get! I couldn't find it anywhere then I finally found it here. It was also on backorder here but it soon came in as where I waited a d never received it from other stores and websites. I use it to make cauliflower popcorn (yum) and tofu "scrambled eggs" for vegan cooking.

I am a vegan and long time user of dietary yeast, but this yeast is exceptional. It has everything I like and does not have what I refuse to have in my yeast. The decidedly cheesy flavor is a favorite of my husband, and a smart additive to my diet with an eye on my pocketbook. This is the only dietary yeast i will buy (and I have tried a lot of them).

I'm new to eating a plant-based diet. I had never used nutritional yeast before so I didn't know what to expect. It is true what I read, nutritional yeast adds a cheesy, nutty flavor to foods that need "something". I use it a lot!
