Suggested Use
Do Not Exceed 6 Doses in a 24 Hour Period.
Adults and Children 12 years and over: take 2 tablespoonfuls every 4 hours; Children 6 to 12 years of age: 1 tablespoonful every 4 hours; Children 2 to 6 years of age: 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours. Not to exceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor. WarningsAsk a doctor before use if a cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema or a cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus).
Stop use and ask a doctor is cough lasts more thatn 7 days, comes back or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.

The Guaifenesin is important to me as an effective drug for loosening mucus. I like this product because it provides a mostly-natural ingredient base for delivering Guaifenesin, unlike the "major brands", which are loaded with nasty chemmies. I'd like to see Naturade go "totally natural" (except for the Guaifenesin, of course...)

This works very well as an expectorant. If you are wanting something different than standard cough medicine this is good, but look at the active ingredient-it is the same as most over the counter cough medicines. So be carful not to use it with other cough medicines with the same ingredient.

One of the best products for coughs. I use it whenever I have a bad cough and it clears it right up.
