Life Extension No Flush Niacin contains a special form of niacin, inositol hexanicotinate, consisting of six molecules of niacin chemically linked to an inositol molecule. It is hydrolyzed in the body to free niacin and inositol, which is a very slow process. I recommend this product!
This is the best product and best buy I've been able to find for the high-dose, no-flush niacin my doctor ordered for my high triglycerides (which it has helped with). My family MD has me take 3 gms (3,000 mg) a day in a divided am/pm dose.
