Peaceful Planet Hunza Meal is a convenient and great-tasting "meal in a glass". 70% of the ingredients are sprouted and RAW! Each serving contains 8 grams of organic, sprouted and raw Hunza superfoods that are freeze-dried to better retain nutrients and enzymatic activity. Also included are 23 antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies containing over 2,000 ORAC units. Research suggests that poeple should consume between 3,000 and 5,000 ORAC units (scientific measure of total antioxidant activity) daily for optimum health.
The Hunza people are legendary for their peaceful good nature, vibrant health and amazing longevity. This is attributed to vigorous exercise, mineral-rich water from the surrounding Himalayan glaciers (which nourishes the terraced organic farms) and simple food preparation that involves very little cooking.
The traditional Hunza diet consists of 99% plant foods, most of which are eaten fresh, raw and sprouted. Fruits and vegetables are consumed freshly picked or sun-dried for the long winters. Grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts are soaked until sprouted and then eaten raw. Most meals contain freshly ground flaxmeal.
