ResveratrolRich Reservatrol Concentrate Super Strength by Natural Factors
Natural Factors - ResveratrolRich Reservatol Concentrate Super Strength - 60 Vegetarian Capsules
Natural Factors Resveratrol Rich Super Strength Resveratrol Concentrate is manufactured under GMP to ensure purity and a high potency of 250 mg of trans-resveratrol in each 500 mg vegetarian capsule. The resveratrol is extracted from the skins of red grapes (Vitis vinifera), grown in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and from Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum). The knotweed is highly purified to remove 99% of the emodin, a natural substance that can act as a laxative in some sensitive people. Knotweed is commonly used in traditional medicines for the liver and heart.

Why do the French have a relatively low incidence of heart disease, even though French cuisine is famous for its buttery pastries, creamy sauces and other high-fat dishes? One possible explanation is significant health-promoting benefits in the red wine that they love to drink. One of these nutrients is resveratrol (trans-resveratrol), which can improve cardiovascular health, and protect against neurological deterioration and other diseases of aging.
Resveratrol is a type of polyphenol, an antioxidant compound found in certain plants. High concentrations of resveratrol are found in grapes and Japanese knotweed. It is also found in blueberries and bilberries, but in much lower concentrations.
Resveratrol has been found to improve age-related health conditions and increase longevity. Consistent with the French Paradox, research indicates that resveratrol may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and it may stop free radicals from doing further damage to brain cells after a stroke.

A quality herbal product starts with the highest quality fresh organic plant material. The efficacy of herbal products has always been affected by growing conditions, harvesting, processing and storage. At Factor Farms in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada our quality can be guaranteed as we control the entire process from seedling to finished product.
To grow herbs organically no chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides or pesticides are allowed. We use only natural substances that have been approved by the organic industry. You can be assured that the fresh herb extracts contain no traces of unwanted chemical. Even the seed and plant sources are organic.
To be organically certified, certification inspectors work closely with growers to ensure that the organic standards are adhered to. We must keep detailed records of what we use on our farm. Even after harvest, processing is regulated so that no harmful chemicals are used to manufacture the fresh herb extracts.
Local cultivation of medicinal herbs at Factors Farms ensures that the herbs are picked, processed, and extracted at just the right time when the active ingredients are at their peak.
Natural Factor knows that the natural habitats of many herbs are shrinking and that over-harvesting from the wild can endanger native medicinal plant populations. So organic cultivation of herbs is preferred over "wild crafting".
