EPA & DHA
EPA and DHA are two of the most unsaturated fatty acids within our bodies; considerably more unsaturated than vegetable oils. Because of their very high degree of unsaturation on their long chain, they have unique vital functions. Both EPA & DHA are needed by our bodies, but sometimes one is more important to an individual than the other. Therefore, Carlson's concentrated formulas contain both EPA and DHA, but strongly favor one over the other.
