Metagenics UltraClear Renew is a medical food formulated to provide specialized nutritional support to help address altered pain signaling and neuromuscular function in patients with fibromyalgia. UltraClear Renew is designed for individuals who may benefit from additional support for detoxification function, and features an array of nutrients in a low-allergen-potential rice protein base to support Phase II liver detoxification. In preliminary research with a small number of fibromyalgia patients with dental amalgams, administration of UltraClear Renew was associated with significant decreases in FIQ (Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire) scores, including pain and stiffness.
UltraClear RENEW, provided as a powdered beverage mix, is a medical food formulated to provide specialized nutritional support for patients with fibromyalgia and is designed for those who may benefit from additional nutritional support for hepatic detoxification function.

- Features a proprietary spent hops powder and extracts of prune, pomegranate, and watercress.
- Preliminary laboratory research suggests that spent hops may induce the expression of metallothionein, an antioxidant protein associated with the bodys detoxification of some heavy metals.
- Preliminary laboratory work suggests that spent hops and prune extract may promote the activity of quinone reductase, a Phase II detoxification enzyme.
- Preliminary laboratory research suggests that pomegranate extract may increase the activity of glutathione-S-transferase (GST), an important Phase II detoxification enzyme.

Suggested Use
Blend, shake, or briskly stir about 2 level scoops (38 grams) of UltraClear Renew into 8 ounces of chilled water or juice twice daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. For highly sensitive individuals, consider reducing consumption to 1/2 to 1 scoop with 4 to 5 ounces of chilled water or juice twice daily during the first 3 to 4 days before starting a full daily dose. WarningsExcess Vitamin A intake may be toxic and may increase the risk of birth defects. Pregnant women and women who may become pregnant should not exceed 5000 IU of preformed Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) per day.
